In my 30+ years of travel, I have covered over 500,000 miles on the highways and back roads of the United States and many other countries. At age 19, I was teaching summer camps in 3 different states traveling each week to a new city or small town. At 22, I worked as a full-time University Admissions Counselor often driving over 1,000 miles a week visiting a variety of high schools and community colleges staying at small town hotels and eating at local diners. At 23, I visited Europe for the second time but this time without a tour group. A friend of mine and I traveled by backpack & trains to the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, & Spain. It was an AMAZING experience.
